Pictures of the 1982 Coupe are below the 1984 photos. The 1984 has been sold, the 1982 is still available and the photos are below those of the 1984.
1984 BMW 633CSi  Great extras & no rust

This was my daily driver.  I have my choice of some of the finest automobiles ever made to drive, but I keep coming back to her.  It has  Colorado salvage title as it had sustained very minor damage to the nose when I bought her.  It was hit squarely on the nose and I had a new nose piece, hood and grills put on.  I took a dam from another 633, it was gold and that is why the dam is gold that is on it.  You can see that the hood does not fit perfectly, I was too excited to get her on the road and never had it corrected.  It aligns and drives fine.  It is a 5-speed.  My daughter has been driving it for the last year.  It has been sitting for the last six months or so and it is time to sell her.

The clear on the paint is peeling on the trunk lid, sunroof, roof and both front fenders.  I had a new clutch installed about 5,000 miles ago.  Sometimes the gears do not line up and you have to go through the gears to enable it to shift properly, I believe that when the transmission was put back in, that the linkages were not lined up properly.  Otherwise it runs fine.  It burns around 1 quart of oil in 3,000 miles or so.  Occasionally when you depress the clutch, it sticks down and you have to use your toe to bring it back up.  I do not know what this is, but it may be in the hydraulic system for the clutch.  I wanted to let any potential buyer know about these issues.  There is some damage like the covers in the rear deck becoming warped and distorted.  It has a new battery, after sitting for a few months, it cranked over and started with no problems.  I do believe that you could fly in and drive her home.

$4,500.00 - If I remove some of the items listed below, the price can go down.

I am considering selling my 1989 635CSi as well.  E-mail me if you have interest please.
It has a power fuel reg., race modified air mass sensor, 8mm ignition cables, and an A.C. Snitzer chip.  It has two sets of tires on later 740 16” wheels.  Michelin Aplin’s and Bridgestone Potenza’s.  It has 158,000 miles or so on her.  It is the car I drive of I have to go somewhere, it is my daily driver.  (The dam has a split in it and one headlight has a cracked lens.)  It is in very good condition, rust free, but when the sun hits it right you can see parking lot dings in the doors.  Interior is excellent.  Transmission was recently flushed by BMW dealer and it shifts fine.  I also had new front struts put in and the SLS is fine as well in the rear.  It has new accumulators in the rear suspension also.  It is a great car.  Factory stereo.  It is blue with a tan interior. Automatic, ABS brakes, airbag . . .

I also have a 1982 633CSi that would be $1,200, it has a NARDI steering wheel and Bilstein's, but has rust.  There are photos posted below the pictures of the 84 coupe on this page.  Or make an offer.

And my 1982 633CSi "parts" car is for sale.  Not much left that is usable.  Engine and transmission?  It was a very bad accident.  I should know, I was there.

It is with concern that I list this car for sale.  I do not want to unintentionally mislead anyone.  I see her as a car that I loved and drove for a long time, you see an old BMW that needs a paint job. I am no longer familiar with the car as I wish I was.  I want to represent the car accurately, but my memory has been permanently altered, see the "parts" car below, I was driving when that happened.  As I said, my memory is poor these days.  I have not used it as a daily driver for well over one year, my daughter was driving it up until this Spring, and it has sat since.  I do not want to misrepresent the car in any way.  I understand that I feel it is worth far more than a potential buyer might.  If you simply add up the extras and consider their value, then we could possibly reach a compromise.  The muffler alone, I believe, lists for over $800.00, and the headers were $600.00.  Then there is the stereo . . .

139,950 miles

  • Bavarian AutoSport Headers
  • B&B Tri-Flow Muffler
  • Updated ECU
  • No CAT so may not be "street legal" in some parts of the country and need a catalytic converter re-installed.  But it sounds great and drives better.  To add am aftermarket cat would be few hundred dollars if your local regulations require it.
  • Late 740iL 16" wheels, removed and now optional and would be more money
  • B.F. Goodrich g-force 225/55/16 tires, very little use, as above, on the 16" optional wheels, optional for more money
  • New O.E.M. Clutch system, all components
  • Shocks replaced with O.E.M. shocks
  • McIntosh Sound System with McIntosh head & CD-Changer, resting on a foam pad in the truck.
  • Rockford Fosgate Subs
  • ADS speakers in front, one grill keeps falling off
  • XTANT amplifier, it is on foam in the trunk, never could find a good spot to mount it.
  • NARDI wheel, may not go with car, depends on selling price.  I do have the original wheel as well
  • Bavarian Motorworks performance ignition cables
  • Differential changed to a 3.73 LSD, limited slip differential
  • Many other points that I cannot remember now . . .

The clear on the paint has lifted on the LF fender, RF fender, part of the roof and the deck lid.  They also show some sun damage as well.  I can have this spotted in for you if you like.  You can see what I am talking about in the photos below.

Please remember that the photos show the OPTIONAL 16" wheels, it now has OEM wheels with 14" tires.

If one picture is worth a thousand words, here are a few thousand words . . .
VIN:  WBAEB7401E6728012
Wheels:

The 1984 coupe photos were taken at different times.  The wheels that go with the car are the 14" original wheels that is in some of the photos.  I had late 740iL wheels on it which you could buy for $1,000 with the B.F. Goodrich g-force 225/55/16 tires on them.

This side of photos has the wheels that are now one the car.  14" with Michelin's.  You will see two other coupes in the background of a few of the photos, one is a 1982 with rust and the other is a 1982 parts car, both are for sale.  There is a photo of each at the bottom of this column.  E-mail me if you have any interest in one of them.

These wheels have been taken off and there are 14" wheels with Michelin's now.  But I could put these wheels back on if you wanted to buy them.

This is a 1982 parts car, and it is also for sale.  I was driving it when this happened.  I lived.  The wheels do not go with the car, unless you want to buy them separately, they are 850 wheels.

If you are confused about the wheels, give me a call, or e-mail me for clarification.  I do not want anyone upset that they are not buying the car with the 16" wheels on it.  It is being sold with the original 14" wheels.

1982 BMW 633CSi

This is a 1982 633CSi and it is also for sale, $1,200.00.  It has some rust.  Front seats are worn.  It ran and drove fine when parked, my son used it to deliver pizza's.  The brake pedal is very soft, might just need bleed, or . . . ?  The alternator is off and it has no battery.  It knocks when first started, but quiets down after the oil starts circulating.  It last ran about a year ago and has been sitting since.  That is really all I can remember.  It has been sitting for over a year.

I also have a set of 16" wheels with the tires off of the 84 coupe.  They are great tires.  I am not sure what I would want for them, but the tires were $200 a piece alone. B.F. Goodrich g-force 225/55/16 tires with very little use could be for sale, unless the buyer of the 84 coupe wants to buy them.

If the buyer of the 82 coupe wants better wheels, I have a set of 16" late 740iL wheels that would work.  We would have to discuss price.

If you want to buy the wreaked 82 coupe, it might be a good idea as when I was driving it, I remember it had a very good engine and transmission.

It has a Nardi steering wheel and Bilstein shocks.  It was somebody's baby at one time. If anything I have said is confusing, please let me know and I will try to clarify.
