This car is my daily driver.  I had a 1984 Coupe and in 2001 I was in a life altering accident.  The car saved my life.  Its crush zones were incredible.  But - after I started driving again, I wanted to replace my coupe.  My wife was against it, so I bought a 1989 as it has an airbag and ABS brakes. 

I ran the coupe through a car wash at a gas station before I took these pictures and it did a horrible job, I will try to have some better photos of the front end soon, but for now . . .  While it is a seventeen year old car, it still looks and drives great, there are the scratches and parking lot dings that you would expect, but other than that, it looks very clean.  The interior is good and it drives fine.  I have made some modifications to it and I have tried to remember what I have done over the years. The only issues that I can think of are a minor power steering leak.  I replaced the heater valve.   And the front dam has a split in it.  There is a BMW dealer 25 minutes away, if you want it checked out, I would be happy to arrange that for you.  The battery seems fine, but if I let the car sit for a month or so, it is dead.  I charge it up and then it is fine again.  I do not know if it is the battery, or a small electrical drain, but I wanted to let you know.  There are a few cracks in the dash and the muffler has a small hole in it.  There is a BMW dealer 25 minutes away, if you want it checked out, I would be happy to arrange that for you.
